About Project Wraparound

Project Wraparound is a mental health program designed to serve youth (up to age 21) and their families. Eligible youth are those who are experiencing moderate to severe symptoms that make it difficult for them to function in multiple areas of their lives (i.e. school, work, family, peer relationships). A young person experiencing any of the following symptoms may benefit from Project Wraparound services:

  • Irritability/aggression
  • Poor concentration
  • Extreme mood swings
  • Loss of appetite/weight loss
  • Disturbed sleep
  • Suicidal thoughts/actions
  • Anxiety/panic
  • Impulsivity/high-risk behavior
  • Avoidance of school or marked decline in school performance
  • Social isolation
  • Rule breaking
  • Violence towards others
  • Misuse of controlled substances

PROJECT WRAPAROUND PROVIDES…

Providers utilize evidence-based, culturally-sensitive, and linguistically appropriate treatments, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to improve the functioning and resilience of the entire family. Project Wraparound also specializes in working with special populations, including homeless and LGBTQI2-S youth.
